Damienne and Lee's apartment: Farewell party for Moshe from Israel and Julia from London
(Sorry, picture removed.) What a blast. It must be one of the best parties I’ve ever been to. A party in Rome with all my newly acquainted classmates. Julia and I first bought a bunch of flowers from our neighborhood. Une bon idée from Julia. Then I bought her a book for her to study Italian back in England, a book of Tutti's jokes for Moshe and of course, a "dizionario" for Damienne, my best friend in Rome. Of course I would like to give her a book about the subject of immigration to better fit her need. But this task would be too complicated for me since I know nothing about immigration, not least if it is printed in Italian.
What I did know was that we drank a hell lot of wine. Bottle after bottle of spumante, rossi, and bianchi. Dami and Lee are good chefs too. Above average for non-professional, I must say. Claudia and her friends bought one “bellissima torta cioccolata,” in English, a beautiful chocolate cake that no chocoholic in this world can keep himself/herself from watering his/her mouth. The look was really tempting: I was full before I saw it; and empty after I saw it. Mike from Germany kept saying Italian exclamations like “prefecto,” “bellissimo” and etc. For one time, I must say I agree. It was really a night to remember. Sadly, it would be for Claudia and I next week.
Moshe is really the king of dirty joke. He could really talk jokes like a AK47, especially under the influence of wine.
